Hello, igamesnews readers! My name is Evgeniy Sorokin, lead Producer at Saber Interactive. I had the exciting opportunity to talk to you about the world of open source physics, SkyRunner. In our game you can take powerful off-road vehicles and drive them to a logical place like mud, water, ice and ice. Completing our sandbox contracts gives you rewards that you can use to increase the size of your ships or customize your vehicles.
SnowRunner is a fantastic test of patience and skill. Some of these contracts will bring you to deliver a heavy load to a truly dangerous environment. Some may require you to save lost and damaged vehicles while making sure not to put them in the mud yourself.
So, the team and I have put together a list of tips to make sure your next ride is swimming.
Tip 1: Explore and explore new places
Each time you enter a new map or region take some time to read this place. Accessing Watchtowers will generate large sections of the map, giving you where Contracts, hidden upgrades, and vehicles are located. Also, the more detailed the map, the easier it will be to organize your routes!
Tip 2: Buy, sell, upgrade, and customize your Garage Trucks
Rewards from Contracts and Jobs may be spent on your Garage. Here, you can buy new cars to expand your system, upgrade their parts, and customize them. Your favorite cars can be upgraded to handle sturdy conditions with larger engines, new wheels, or a quick river cruise snorkel. You will need all the strength you can get to meet the most difficult goals!
Tip 3: Use Truck Storage to send your best cars around the world
Truck Storage can bring your cars to other maps and regions, perfect if you want to bring your favorite truck to every destination.
Tip 4: Plan your trip around your Fuel
Some game contracts have long listed many maps and so preparing them for a long time is important. An oil trailer makes you independent, but if you can't afford the price of a trailer or your truck isn't strong enough to carry it, you'll need to rely on petrol stations. Make sure that the route you remember contains plenty of available fats.
Tip 5: Use All-Wheel Drive with a Different Lock if necessary
All-Wheel Drive provides power to all the wheels in your car, working great when trying to overcome slopes. This increases your fuel consumption, so use less. Remember to turn it off when the environment is easy to use!
Cars tend to have their variants unlocked, allowing each wheel to rotate at a different turning speed with greater speed. The Lock variant forces two wheels that share the same axel to fit, significantly increasing the price of the car. Make sure you know when to use both, so that you don't end up embarrassed on the edge!
Tip 6: Slowoth Smooth, Smooth is faster
If you're stuck, don't panic! Dropping an accelerator may leave you in a more difficult position, since throwing your tires will dig deeper into the mud or snow. Set your gearbox down and try to wipe it loose. Slow wheels reduction with careful wheel control can get you a lot of pull and you'll be out of time.
Tip 7: Increase your driving rate
Some contracts can be very difficult to handle early, so don't be afraid to leave them later. Raising your Driver Level will give you more car access and improvement, giving you more tools to make your job easier.
Tip 8: Use your Winch!
Using the advanced menu gives you access to your winch. This powerful tool allows you to haul objects and vehicles, as well as to get yourself out of trouble in case you are not caught. Be careful! It is powered by your engine so it consumes a lot of fuel when speeding too. SnowRunner also includes quick winch function, which can save you in emergency situations.
And that comes from us! We can't wait to see you in the wild on April 28 when SnowRunner releases the PS4.
