It’s true! PlayStation’s iconic woolen hero is coming to PC! We’re thrilled that a whole new audience of gamers will have the chance to join Sackboy on his big adventure.
Today, we’re excited to be able to reveal details of the new features and improvements you can look forward to when the game releases on October 27. There is also some great pre-purchase content available, see below for details!
The first thing to note are the new visuals. We wanted this game to look visually stunning on PC, so with that goal in mind, here are some of the new graphics features we’ve added to get the most out of your hardware:
· 4K with target @ 120FPS1. Craftworld’s stunning patchwork is rendered in stunning 4K detail.
· Deep learning super sampling. NVIDIA DLSS2 boosts graphics performance using dedicated processors found only on GeForce RTX GPUs, increasing frame rates with uncompromising image quality.
· VRR. Variable refresh rate support makes Sackboy more responsive than ever.2
- Wide screen! The game supports a wide range of aspect ratios, including the ultrawide 21:9.3
While we’ve added all of these new graphics features for gamers with high-end machines, we’ve also worked hard to ensure that a range of different hardware is supported. Here are the details of the minimum and recommended specs:

Along with these great visual features, we’ve also added a whole bunch of peripheral and customization options. Full DualSense controller support increases immersion through haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.4 For those who prefer mouse and keyboard, there is support both during gameplay and in the UI. The game also supports cloud achievements and saves on Steam and the Epic Game Store.
So that’s a taste of the new improvements we’ve added to the PC version. We’re also thrilled to announce that if you pre-purchase the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store ahead of its October 27 release, you’ll get access to four special PlayStation costumes and emotes to customize your Sackboy with:

- Sam Porter Bridges
- Connor
- Deacon St. John
One final note, the game is great in single player mode, but when played co-op a whole new level of chaotic multiplayer fun ensues! So be sure to share the experience with your friends.
