Neon Doctrine posted the first trailer from The Legend of Tianding from developer Creative Games Computer Graphics Corporation. This is a two-dimensional, side-scrolling action game. It was presented during the IndieHouses event and its launch is rather early.
Apparently, we will control Liao Tianding himself, a figure known in Chinese culture as a criminal who robbed the rich to give to the poor. So his image is rather positive. In the game we will play a young Tianding who is learning to fight for what is interesting.
Action and history
The trailer was presented in Chinese with his coach commenting on what techniques the Taipei hero will be able to use. Tianding specializes in kung-fu, although it was not revealed if we will learn new martial arts throughout the title.
According to the developers. the Tianding era (early 20th century) often goes unnoticed by popular culture. Therefore, they have set out to represent the legend of Tianding in this time of Taipei, a time with a lot of organized crime, one in which Tianding did his part to save the population.
Below you can see the trailer for the title that has not yet been rated by the ESRB, although apparently its violence is rather cartoonish. It will premiere on October 27 on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
