Respawn Entertainment has kicked off the new Pathfinder-themed Fight Night event, the robot Marvin that has been in the game since its premiere in 2019. The event begins shortly after we would know the origins of the character serving as an innkeeper in a seedy place.

The patch brings balance changes, stability improvements, quality of life changes, two new game modes, and several new cosmetic items.

Ways to play

The main thing is that the Apex mode (the standard of the game) will disappear momentarily and we will have to play the “supply escalation” mode. This mode is basically the same as the standard mode but supply drops will drop much more regularly and with items much more powerful than usual.

In Apex mode you usually have to slowly get hold of more weapons and team up with your team to improve. In this mode you will receive more items, which also encourages constant conflict between the different teams of three, so it seems that it will be a much more dynamic way to play the battle royale mode.

There is also the “Take the City” mode that is thematic of Pathfinder, if we see the history of the robot, we will know that he had a boxer friend who taught him to fight, and we will also know the origin of his hook.

In the ring you will be able to fight against other players 1vs1 without weapons and without grenades or other types of tools. The winner will unlock rare loot and you can always keep trying.

In addition, the event comes 24 cosmetic items that we can buy directly in the store or get them playing naturally and fulfilling challenges. Hitting all 24 will earn you a cosmetic relic of Gibraltar that you can add to your weapon.

Apex Legends is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and of course you have your own versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X, although Respawn prepares more suitable versions for these consoles in the future.
