Respawn Entertainment has announced via Twitter that Apex Legends will expand the amount of territories in which it is available, among these five new countries are Colombia and Peru and they become the first Latin American nations to be part of a beta of this caliber. With Peru and Colombia come Indonesia, Egypt and Lebanon.
These in turn now accompany India and the Philippines, which were the first countries to test the Apex Legends beta on mobile devices. Some gameplay videos are already available on YouTube, but we assume there will be more now thanks to the addition of new countries. Also, some will be Spanish, so we can take a look.
Latin American beta
Similarly, the beta is expected to spread to more territories throughout the year and to finally launch globally in early 2022. EA has not commented on this, but we imagine it will be a free-to-play delivery. since that is the usual thing on mobile phones and it is more obvious if we take into account that the delivery for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch is already free-to-play.
In a few weeks, Apex Legends Mobile’s closed beta test will roll out to five more countries.

For now we know that the season prizes for the battle pass will be parallel to those of the desktop version, there will be no cross-play between them and the content they will receive will be different. In addition, Respawn Entertainment will be in charge of development, so it is confirmed that Electronic Arts gives more and more responsibilities to this studio that also works on a new Star Wars game.
In this way, in Peru and Colombia they will soon be able to enjoy this version focused on the touch controls of smartphones. Respawn has not shared the exact date, only revealed that it will arrive in “a few weeks”, so it will probably coincide with the EA Play in July.
