Apex Legends, or more specifically a developer of the game, has provided a highly anticipated update on cheating and hackers. Unfortunately, it’s not really the update that Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S players were hoping for. Like Warzone, Fortnite, and many games of this variety, Apex Legends has a problem. with hackers and cheaters. However, unlike others who have been transparent and forthcoming about efforts to thwart those who decide to hack, cheat, and ruin the experience, Respawn Entertainment has not been great at keeping players informed on what it is doing to combat it all. this or why is such a persistent problem.
That being said, on Twitter, Respawn Entertainment Communications Director Ryan Rigney provided an update in response to a professional gamer complaining not only about the problem of hackers in the game, but also about a lack of communication on the subject. . To this end, Rigney reveals that the team has been “trying every avenue” to solve the problem, but is not ready at this point to share “a solid plan.” However, the team is working to find a solution and hopes to share a proper update on the matter “as quickly as possible.”
“We know it and we are testing all avenues (technical, legal, etc.) at this time to see what we can do to fix it,” writes Rigney. “The situation sucks, no doubt. But we think it makes sense to keep most of the communication (aside from posts like this) until we have a solid plan in place. TL; DR: The team is on it. Regarding some ongoing cheating issues. Waiting to have actions to announce as quickly as possible (and to avoid useless “we hear you!” Posts, in the meantime…) ”.

Unfortunately, this is pretty much all that Rigney reveals. At this time, it is not known when improvements will be made to this aspect of the game, but it seems that that could change soon.
Apex Legends is available, free of charge, via Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S.
