March is almost over, which means a new month is on the horizon for players to dive into new adventures. Like every month, Sony offers some free games for PlayStation Plus members. While the March free games are still available for a bit longer, this is what the free PS Plus lineup for April 2021 looks like.
April 2021 PS Plus Free Games Revealed
The latest line of free games includes Oddworld Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. Personally, I can’t recommend Dead War highly enough, Zombie Army is a fun cooperative zombie adventure that feels satisfying and is a lot of fun to play with friends. If you like games like Left 4 Dead, it is definitely a title worth choosing.
Days Gone was a PlayStation exclusive that also focused on zombies. While the reception was mixed, the ride was impressive and it was fun riding a motorcycle taking out zombies from left to right. If you like living out a motorcyclist fantasy with a story that focuses on surviving in a world of zombies eating zombies after suffering an insurmountable loss, this is a good deal to dry you off. Fair warning: the story starts off pretty slow, but gameplay eventually picks up if you’re willing to hang on.
It’s also not too late to pick up the March games with Final Fantasy VII Remake, Farpoint, and Remnant: From the Ashes as well, though it’s important to note that an active PS Plus membership is required for all of the titles listed above. Membership for Sony’s online services includes free games every month, exclusive sales on select titles, and unlimited access to online games with friends. Free games remain yours until membership runs out.
