Arizona Sunshine Caravan Park Cooperative Map Has a Release Date

Arizona, Caravan, Cooperative, date, map, Park, release, Sunshine

Originally released in 2016, post-apocalyptic virtual reality zombie shooter Arizona Sunshine has developed a large fanbase over the years, and its developers frequently update the game with new maps and DLC. The latest of these additions, titled Trailer Park Horde Mode, will debut today for Oculus Quest via a free update, with additional content also joining PlayStation VR and Steam in 2021.

The new DLC takes players into an abandoned trailer park, and VertigoGames says the map will unite up to four players as they face endless waves of the undead in the game’s Horde mode. According to the description provided by the studio, it will be filled with narrow alleys and side streets to traverse, as well as trailers to loot, and players will have many new dangers to deal with.

The announcement comes along with a trailer, showing more of the new place and the zombified inhabitants that players will delay in their quest to survive. The visuals seem to hint that the focus of the new map will be to dive between the trailers, grabbing weapons, ammo, and other useful resources while trying to deal with overwhelming numbers. For fans of Arizona Sunshine, there will surely be more of the action-packed zombie carnage that drew them into the game in the first place, and the map appears to be another significant addition to the VR experience.

Complete what has undoubtedly been a very strong year for virtual reality and its fans. From Half-Life: Alyx and The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners to Star Wars: Squadrons and Iron Man VR, there have been a wide variety of games this year that really showed what it’s capable of in a virtual reality space.

Arizona Sunshine is available now for PC and PlayStation 4.
