Those who have played the Battlefield Saga from the start will remember its campaign mode. A unique element that was very present in each of the deliveries and which favored the possibility of knowing the history from a different perspective. Sometimes even closer to each of the different sections that clashed during the war. For the first time in the entire series, the company might consider removing this style of play. At least, that’s what Tom Henderson, a well-known Battlefield leaker, says. He mentions that to date, he hasn’t heard from the company about the story mode or suggest that the game will have it. In fact, he indicates that during the last interview with investors, EA made no mention of this either..
First game in the series without a campaign mode?
Insider claims it’s the first time EA didn’t mention Battlefield’s campaign mode it will happen this year. And while he says that might not mean anything, he also says it’s strange that this information is being shared with investors. After all, they are the ones who are investing and wanting to know what they are really going to find with the product and the possible sales.
For now, in the absence of confirmation from EA or DICE, we will have to wait and see what will happen in the future. What is clear is that the company has big plans for the game and is ready to make the game big. Something to enjoy and, best of all, something surprising for gamers. Although yes, we will have to wait until June to know the reality of what awaits us in this new opus.
