"They let us play John Wick's game."
That thought still strikes me every few days. Lionsgate, Thunder Road Pictures and a team of filmmakers allowed me and my team to reconsider their fantastic feature film as a game, and go some weird places with it. But more than just letting us know, Lionsgate and Thunder Road Pictures have encouraged us to be bold about the source material, as well as our choice of genre.
Let's talk about type. John Wick Hex is a & # 39; timeline game & # 39 ;, which means it's a game where you manage Wick's decisions from second to second, but ironically, they are consistent, time-based. Actions take a certain amount of time to perform, in order to play, you'll need to set your time to work closer to your enemies. It's dance, choreography. Fight directly with choreography. It also fights with the choreography that is introduced by the action team behind the John Wick movies, so your action will follow the rules and challenge of what you've seen in the films. Of course, in the play-by-play, we found that the former movie-lovers actually played better, so re-viewing the art between now and our launch would be a good idea! Chad Stahelski was editing John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum while giving me feedback on our mechanics, he's a very responsible person. A multitasker with many great ideas that we have used to build our entire growth.
Bringing the game to PlayStation was a lot of fun. The good folks at Ant Workshop have teamed up with real game creators to create a redesigned game version from the ground up to put Wick's skills into your sixth tips. The game feels good on DualShock 4, in a way that surprised us too. You will beat speed and grace as you play amazing and rewarding customizations, and you will need if you want to grab every Trophy on offer.
This is a game that will work just as well as the introduction of the plot type, if you wanted to play one game but were too scared to try. At the same time, it's a game that rewards the enemies of new skills that will develop as you go, and as I said, some of those advanced Trophic characters will take over the job. If you already love John Wick, this is a new way for the vocal talents of Ian McShane and Lance Reddick to replicate their roles in the movies, compiled by the awesome Troy Baker as our new citizen, Hex. As you will see in the new PlayStation trailer, there is a whole new gallery between you and your final stand with Hex. If you're new to John Wick, wow, I'm excited for you to see the movies, but you're safe to get the game first. The fanboy in me wants you to immediately go and watch movies.
I have a very high spirit that you can play. Glad to see you get inside John Wick's head – time to get things fixed. Working on this game has been a great opportunity for us, and I hope it will be our most incredible way to capture the action of the series.
