Overwatch is one of the most popular games in recent years. The Blizzard title has millions of fans on all platforms on which it is available. The title is soon to celebrate its five years on the market and we now know that it will do so with the arrival of a new character named Baptiste.
Baptiste will arrive within the framework of the Overwatch anniversary event and already has a release date to the liking of all users. Baptist will be the 32nd character to enter the game after the initial 21 it launched with in 2016.
Baptiste will arrive with this new skin on May 18, 2021 and the truth is that it looks incredible. This look is very retro and allows us to see the character with an appearance never seen before in Overwatch. This anniversary event will end on June 8 and will bring many challenges that will reward us with cosmetic items for each of the characters in the Blizzard title.
A very important event within Overwatch
Among the elements that will be back at the event, several classic skins stand out, so in case you have not acquired them at the time this is a good opportunity to achieve it. We do not know the name of all the skins yet, but Blizzard commented that tomorrow it will reveal the full list once the event begins.
This comes just in a year in which we expect to have news about Overwatch 2, the long-awaited sequel to the Blizzard game that will have new elements such as the presence of a story mode that according to Blizzard will be quite extensive to the liking of fans. Unfortunately we don’t have an official release date yet, but E3 2021 would be a good place to reveal elements of that sequel.
