Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 is scheduled to begin on December 10, at which point fans can expect an influx of new content for the game. Activision has yet to make any sort of announcement about what fans can expect from Season 1 specifically, but some new leaks may have put the cat out of the bag early. Apparently, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will bring back the fan-favorite Raid map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
An image of the Raid map appeared online, showing a map virtually identical to the original, albeit with some slight adjustments to fit the Cold War scenario. Of course, it’s very possible that this image was faked or that Raid is planned to hit the game sometime after season 1, but it definitely appears to be a legitimate representation. Unfortunately, a confirmation one way or another won’t arrive until next week.
Meanwhile, there is evidence to suggest that Raid is not the only map being remade for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War season 1. Leaked images of multiplayer maps Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War have appeared online, with one very similar to the popular launch map from the original Black Ops game.

The other maps seen in that leak include two that could be original, one on a subway system and one on a television station that is currently filming a game show of some kind. It’s unclear if all of these maps will be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as soon as Season 1 begins on December 10, or if they will be gradually added to the game over time, so fans will need to stay tuned more. information.
While most of the recent leaks have revolved around Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War specifically, some information about Call of Duty: Warzone has also leaked online. It seems that Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a new map based on Alcatraz Island, which has appeared in previous Call of Duty games developed by Treyarch. This may be part of Warzone’s Black Ops Cold War integration on December 10, or it may be something planned for a bit later in the season.
More information on what Activision and Treyarch have planned for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 will likely arrive early next week. Until then, fans should take all of these leaks with a grain of salt.
