Activision has officially revealed the new Caldera map for Call of Duty Warzone.
An image on the map confirms that the Caldera de Warzone era begins with “Operation Vulcan,” which takes place in December 1944, while a new trailer offers a seamless tour of the Pacific Island.
The scale map includes the names of 15 key areas that players can land on and the locations of numerous points of interest.

Replacing the game’s original Verdansk map, Caldera will be released as part of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 1. Caldera’s release was recently delayed for a week until December 8.

Before the release of Caldera, a Call of Duty Vanguard player discovered what appears to be a low-poly version of Caldera thanks to a bystander camera bug.
While playing on the Shipment map recently released by Vanguard, they used the spectator camera to get out of the confines of the battlefield and float through what appears to be Warzone’s newest location.
