Could March 11 be the end of Verdansk?
With Season 2 of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War already underway, many fans have been wondering if March 11 will be the end of Verdansk. Several leakers seem to think so, but there is little debate as to when the infamous nuclear event will take place. We have broken down all the latest information to get a better idea of whether the nuclear event is really real and, if so, when it will take place.
Will the nuclear event in Warzone be real?
Rumors of a nuclear bomb hitting Verdansk began circulating just as Season 2 of Warzone and Cold War was about to drop on February 25. The rumors come from various Call of Duty leakers within the community, who claim to have found the information in the latest update.
Now that the zombies are in Warzone and the missile solos appear in Verdansk, it is increasingly difficult to question theories of a nuclear bomb destroying the current map. There are a host of different leaks, and many of them come from reliable sources. But, everything at this point is pure speculation. However, it seems increasingly likely that Verdansk will be hit by a nuclear bomb at some point in the near future.
When will it happen?
Fans and leakers are convinced that the nuclear event is real, so everyone wants to know, when will it happen? Well, there is a little debate about the exact date.
Some leakers believe that the date will be March 11, as this is the date on which the current event of the outbreak ends. You can check out the tweets from @WarzoneNewz and @ReeceWZNZ, who believe that the Warzone nuclear bomb may occur on March 11.
Think of it like this… the Outbreak event ends a day before the “End”…
Why do you think that is- *Kaboom*.

While others, like VGC, they believe that the end of Verdansk will come in April with the launch of season 3. It is unclear when the event will take place, as many leakers are now backtracking on the date of March 11.
seems like March 11 may be the date for when the zombies begin to spread instead of the nuke event??? https://t.co/sWfxahbzqg

Considering that leakers within the community cannot decide on an exact date, it is important to take all of this information with a little salt until there is an official announcement from the Call of Duty team.
Possible new Warzone map
The date is not the only thing that leakers cannot decide, many argue whether players will continue to arrive in Verdansk after the nuclear event, or if Warzone will receive an entirely new map. Some say that Verdansk will still be playable, but will have a drastically different design after nuclear impacts.
☢️NEW VERDANSK NUKE INFORMATION:
Say goodbye to Airport, Superstore, TV station, Hospital, Half of Train station, Storage Town, Most of Downtown and half of Lumber and Farmland.
A wide range of the middle of the map will get nuked.

While @_Tom_Henderson_ believes that the current plan for Warzone is to introduce a completely new map, which means the end of Verdansk.
When I heard this, I immediately thought that a time machine or portal could be added to the story to have us return to Verdansk in a year or two… But this is just my speculation. More on this at a later date.
