Call of Duty: Warzone’s new Pacific map has been delayed for a week. It was expected to be available on December 2, but Activision said today that it won’t appear until December 9.
Call of Duty: Vanguard owners will have access to the new map 24 hours before everyone else; in other words, on December 8th. The start of Vanguard season 1, which was also scheduled to begin on December 2, was delayed until the same day, and an Activision representative confirmed that the full launch of the new Ricochet anti-cheat system will be brought forward to the same date. .

Activision did not state why the new map was released, however the new day throws the map and Vanguard’s debut season directly on top of the Halo Infinite campaign, which will also be released on December 8. I guess that’s unintentional, but it’s a fun reversal of the “delay to avoid being slaughtered” maneuver we’ve grown used to seeing.
