Basketball player, Candace Parker, has announced through his Twitter account which will be the figure of one of the covers of NBA 2K22. In this way, the Chicago Sky player becomes the first woman to be the cover of a game of this sport. Parker turned 35 this year and is a WNBA icon.
Visual Concepts also announced the event on your blog, at the same time that it revealed that the other covers that the game will have this year. This year’s installment will be special because it will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NBA, so there will be up to four covers in different editions.

Representation matters, so this is a special moment of progress for the sport and the series. Being a part of this historic cover is a testament to the growth and growing popularity of the women’s game, and I am proud to be the first female cover athlete to be the face of NBA 2K.
The cover with the Chicago Sky pivot will be exclusive to GameStop, so the rest of the stores will sell the “standard” with Luka Doncic. The Croatian is also on the cover of the Cross Gen Bundle Edition, while the Anniversary Edition will feature three NBA icons: Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The Cross Gen Bundle Edition ($ 80) is the only one that will allow you to play the title on PS4 and PS5 or Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, while the Anniversary Edition will cost $ 100 and will come with digital content for online modes. For its part, the standard version will cost $ 60 on PS4, Xbox One and PC and $ 70 on the other next gen platforms.
Remember that only in the latter will Candace Parker appear and only buying from GameStop, while in other stores Doncic will appear.
