Capcom confirmed a few hours ago almost all the leaks that had occurred and were linked to ‘Resident Evil: Village’. We can already say that the new installment of the popular zombie franchise will be intergenerational and will arrive for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC on May 7.
Similarly, the presence of the ‘Resident Evil Re: Verse’ mode has already been confirmed, this will be a multiplayer mode that will allow up to six players to face each other. This mode had been leaked a few hours before the Capcom presentation. Another important detail is that PS5 users already have the demo of ‘Resident Evil: Village’. This demo presents us with a female protagonist who cannot defend herself from her rivals and can only escape, very much in the style of ‘Resident Evil VII’.
Capcom reported that it will later share a demo that will be available to all users on different platforms. The best thing about all these announcements is that they were accompanied by a gameplay trailer of the game and a teaser of its newly announced multiplayer mode.
An action packed gameplay
The gameplay shows us a scenario that seems to be a snowy castle surrounded by a town full of villagers who will seek to eliminate us. In the video we can see witches that transform into clouds of flies and the action also stands out, especially when compared to the previous installment of the saga.
An element that returns within the franchise is the figure of the seller that we already saw in ‘Resident Evil 4’ In this installment we will be able to learn more details about Ethan Winters, the protagonist of the previous game who will now be much more mature and experienced. Your mission will be to defeat Mother Miranda, a kind of witch with many supernatural powers.
We remind you that ‘Resident Evil: Village’ will go on sale next May 7, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
