If you thought that the Tyrants were going to disappear from your life when you played the latest installment of Resident Evil, then you’re wrong on the point. We could see them as cheerful and aggressive as ever, killing humans left and right in the gameplay that was shared taking advantage of the closed beta that, by the way, ends this weekend.
As everyone knows, this closed beta was launched for PC and the rest of the consoles and a user took the opportunity to share the game online that showed many and varied quite interesting details about what we will face.
The first thing that was seen was that the humans will continue in their constant fight with the Tyrants and that it will be very difficult to defeat them. The other good thing that the gameplay left was that it was possible to understand in general terms, the gameplay of the title and how the plot is focused.
We will be in the presence of a deathmatch where six people will play and they will have as their main mission, to collect as many viruses as possible around a map and of course, to scrutinize the corners where they may be hidden.
Those who lose in this all against all or dream that they will disappear, but on the contrary, they will continue in Residente Evil but being part of the horde of zombies that abound in the environments. The most important thing is that if you have taken the trouble to move around the map and collected a large amount of viruses, you will not be just any monster.
So start moving, because everything indicates that if you managed to collect a large amount of these deadly viruses, you could become the fearsome Mr. X, a malevolent creature who has been doing his thing since Resident Evil 2.
Other interesting beta details
If you want more information about the playable human characters that will be available, you can consult the Resident Evil official subreddit and there they will have extensive information that the players have been contributing.
You will also find the abilities that each of them will have, as well as the weapons that will be available for you to start defending yourself while collecting viruses everywhere. It could be seen that the characters León and Mathilda, for example, use different pistols for their attacks.
As we said, the closed beta ends this weekend, but they will publish the preliminary results on the success of it today. Then, it only remains to wait for its official launch together with Resident Evil 8: Village, as it will come as a free multiplayer component.
