Crunchyroll has dropped a bomb. The streaming service offers from this Friday the anime ‘Captain Tsubasa (2018)’ with subtitles and dubbing into Spanish in Latin America.
We will return to Oliver’s endless game, but this time instead of watching it through our parents’ giant TV, it will be in the comfort of our mobile devices starting at 1:00 pm Pacific Time.
The premiere will take place in two batches, of which the first consists of episodes from 1 to 26 and the second, scheduled to be released next August, will arrive with chapters from 27 to 52.
The announcement was published through the Crunchyroll official page, raising the fan hype for re-experiencing the passion of soccer alongside the most talented team in Nankatsu City.
Official synopsis of Captain Tsubasa (2018)
Captain Tsubasa is the gripping story of an elementary school student whose thoughts and dreams revolve almost entirely around the love of soccer. Tsubasa Oozora, 11, started playing soccer at a very young age and while it was primarily a recreational sport for his friends, it became something of an obsession for him.
To pursue his dream to the best of his elementary school abilities, Tsubasa moves with his mother to Nankatsu City, which is known for its excellent elementary school soccer teams. But while he was easily the best in his old city, Nankatsu has much more competition, and it will take all of his skill and talent to stand out from this new crowd.
He meets not only rivals, but also new friends like the cute little girl Sanae Nakazawa and the talented goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi, who shares the same passion as Tsubasa and will prove to be a treasured friend to help him move forward towards his dreams. Representing Japan at the FIFA World Cup is Tsubasa’s latest dream, but it will take much more than talent to achieve it.
