A few days ago it was announced that Chernobylite would have an exclusive physical edition of PS4, and now we finally know when it will be released. The game will also arrive on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One but all on different dates.
The first to be released will be the PC. The game has been in Early Access for months on Steam, so it will roll out of this and launch on Steam, Epic Games, and GOG on July 28. That is, in less than a week. This version will have support for DLSS. For its part, the PS4 and Xbox One version will arrive on September 7.
Back to Pripyat
In today’s trailer dedicated to the consoles of the past generation we can see part of the development team in Pripyat, the city that suffered the Chernobyl accident. Also some parts of the gameplay that are based on first-person stealth and exploration in open environments.
Chernobylite is presented as another STALKER-style game that allows us to travel to locations affected by the Chernobyl accident. In this case there is combat against creatures formed by radiation, as well as NPCs that you may or may not trust. In addition, the developers of The Farm 51 say that each game will be different because our decisions change the landscape.
The game has been liked on Steam for its release in Early Access so we’ll see how it fares on consoles soon. The native versions of PS5 and Xbox Series X / S will be released later this year.
