The embargo on first impressions and analysis of Cyberpunk 2077 has already been lifted so most of the media have already given their note for the game. If we get to the point, it appears that the game is living up to the most prudent expectations, one of the best games of the year, but not one that changes the course of the industry.
And it is that The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, the previous big game of the study, yes that it did it for what many expected a similar revolution. However, the initial reviews speak of one of the best open world games, a CDPR that follows the same formula that followed with the sorcerer, but with improvements in some aspects and the odd detail that does not improve on what we already know.
Reviews from each side
Media such as VG247, The Gamer, VGC and GamesRadar + have given the game a perfect note, while Gamer Informer, PCGames N or IGN have taken a step back with 9/10 each. For their part, GameSpot and PC Gamer stand out for their 7/10, the lowest marks the title has received.
What stands out as positive is the life of the city, the graphic impressions, the level of detail of each object and characters, the secondary missions and the performance of Keanu Reeves, as well as the behavior and personality of Jhonny Silverhand. On the other hand, the negative side that is repeated the most in all the reviews is the bugs and errors with which the game has arrived.
Another negative point has been the behavior of artificial intelligence, something that may or may not be due to the same bugs and finally the quality of the main story. In general, it seems to be only compliant at its best, it speaks well of the quality of the missions and their variety, but not of the dialogues and history, which can be important to many.
In the same way, we remind you that several analyzes are missing since websites such as Eurogamer, Polygon or Kotaku have still only published impressions, since they have not finished the title yet.
