We’ve been hearing rumors about Call of Duty: Vanguard for several months, and while there was no reason to doubt that there would be a new COD this year, the truth is that we didn’t have anything official. It’s still like that but today’s leak is pretty close to something official.
And it is that what was discovered among the files of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveals Activision and its intentions. These are four official images of the cover of the new Call of Duty. It is effectively called “Vanguard” and will be sold in three editions for all desktop platforms (except Switch).
The COD of the year
It is also confirmed that it will be located in World War II and that it will have an exclusive beta for those who pre-purchase the Ultimate Edition. It is advisable to keep taking all this information with a grain of salt, as always, but COD leaks are rarely false.
The person responsible for the leak is Tom Henderson, from DualShockers, who has shared some details on his Twitter account. The game will have a standard version, cross-gen version and Ultimate Edition. Official details are missing since what was discovered are only lines of code, however, we can assume that the EU will have exclusive skins and experience tokens.
In addition, everything indicates that the game will be officially presented next Thursday, August 19, that day we will find out about the dates of the closed beta, the open beta and we will see a 5-minute cinematic trailer.
