So on Xbox we will have to wait until September 14, 2022 to enjoy the new Arkane. The studio has a very good reputation for its work with Prey and the Dishonored saga, the developers have taken advantage of the work in those games to launch this title that is played the same, but has a very different approach.
Death loop
In Deathloop we control a character who is trapped in a mortal loop in which he always dies at the end. To escape from this you must kill seven final enemies that are spread across the island that represents the entire game scenario. In addition, there is a character who has the mission to kill you at all times, so the mission will not be easy.
Arkane has shown several gameplay videos, but they still don’t reveal what the role of online modes is. At least we know that everything will be enjoyed as a first person shooter with creative powers and weapons. For their part, the enemies will always complete their cycle, so we can adapt already knowing the experience in advance.
Deathloop was planned for the end of 2020 and suffered a delay until May 2021, shortly before that date a second delay was announced until September. It seems that the third time is the charm since the title will finally arrive on September 14 on PS5 and PC. On the console it will run at 4K and 120 FPS, while on PC you can enjoy the game at the desired resolution and FPS.
