‘Evangelion 3.0: You Can (Not) Redo’ is one of the most acclaimed films in the tetralogy that reconstructs Hideaki Anno’s universe, but with its release in 2012, fans were already in need of a remastered version.
The good news is that this wish will come true with the Blu-Ray in 4K under the name ‘Evangelion 3.333’ and that this Tuesday he announced that he would arrive with a behind-the-scenes look at the production.
In addition to the 1 hour and 36 minute film, the album will show us an insight into Anno and his creation process, as well as the designer of several of the Evas, Mahiro Maeda.
It was previously confirmed that this version would also have all the special content that it included in ‘Evangelion 3.33’, among which you will find trailers and readings of the dialogues by the voice actors.
It should be noted that some scenes will have significant changes thanks to the technology that was used for their resolution in 4K, allowing more amazing battles than you can remember.
‘Evangelion 3,333’ will be available from August 25 in Japan through the official website and specialized stores, while in the West it does not yet have a release date.
