Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
In February 2021, Nintendo announced in one of its Direct that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout It would be available for Nintendo Switch users from the summer of the same year. However, a few months later, Mediatonic announced the decision to delay its release to continue working on new features.
The game is still in development
After months of waiting since the company confirmed the delay of the game’s release on Nintendo Switch, some good news has arrived for fans: Fall Guys is still in development and will be available on Switch later this year.
It was communicated Mediatonic in a post on the official Fall Guys page, stating that we will soon be able to enjoy the title on Switch:
“We know that the news about Fall Guys on Nintendo Switch and Xbox is highly anticipated. We are finalizing development, and while it’s not in this update, it’s still on the way! Until then, we are very happy to enable this cross-platform functionality for our existing platforms as a first step. »
In that same post, they also announced the new crossplay featurewhich allows PC and Playstation gamers to play together regardless of platform.
Additionally, Mediatonic explained that in this update Fall Guys players will be able to enjoy Sweet Thievesa new PVP-style game mode that reminds us of Among Us due to the division of players into thieves and guardians: thieves are tasked with stealing candies, while guardians must stop and catch them being vigilant at all times time so they can’t escape from prison.
