Working in conjunction with the Realismus Modding team, our team here at the Giants is excited to bring the Season mods to PlayStation 4 tomorrow, giving us a new view of the Farming Simulator 19 experience.
This mod caters to more than just basic basic systems, with an emphasis on realistic understanding and making winter, spring, summer, and fall live, visual and game sense. Below you can get a brief idea of how the changes are changing.
- The visual and the sound of the season
- Improved weather system
- Improved growth plan
- A balanced economy
- New animal system
- Cold weather
- Plant rotation planning
Just like in real life, farmers will have to adapt to seasonal changes and predict the weather. With three distinct categories for each season, as well as new types of weather events, each year will present unique challenges and rewards, due to the way they affect crop growth. You will need to keep an eye on the new and improved weather and plan accordingly, but as you know, weather forecasting is an uncertain science, so you should be careful to put all your eggs in one basket.
Many new species have been born, adding to the complexity and choice of how you treat your animals. As age, weight, and gender are determined, the type of feed you provide has a significant impact. Animal health is essential to a well-run and profitable farm.
Knowing that mods have traditionally been a PC thing, we are very excited to work with Realismus Modding and others to bring mods like these on PS4. So far, Farming Simulator has seen the upload of 1200 mods and over 268 million mods across platforms, and with access to modeling education, the future of Farming Simulator community content is just constantly improving. Starting tomorrow, expect a snowy winter and warm summers!
Before jumping into Season Mode, we advise you to start a new game to avoid any mistakes or to hamper your current progress.
