Finally, we also worked with Titan Comics on the second arc of the Horizon Zero Dawn comics, this time featuring fan favorite character Erend. In Horizon Zero Dawn: Liberation, the story takes place during the events of the original game and explores the never-before-seen adventures of Aloy and Erend as they track down a killer with ties to Erend’s past. As the couple battle a series of deadly attacks with machines, Erend reveals the story of Meridian’s release – as well as more details about his sister, Ersa’s disappearance.
The first issue will be released on July 14, 2021 and the second issue will hit stores on August 9, 2021; both can be pre-ordered here.
