The latest Genshin Impact update is getting closer and closer to launch, and we have some exciting new leaks regarding the next update. The new update is one of the biggest updates the game has received. With over 40 million players already playing the game, the hype surrounding this update should further boost the player base.
In Update 1.6, we received a new costume system, a new character, Kazuha, and several new weapons and items. On top of that, there were several new weapons and items that were introduced to the game. Most notable of all was the addition of a new region, although it was not very large.
After that, miHoYo has decided to skip version 1.7 entirely and jump to 2.0. This is likely due to the fact that the update is quite significant, so the developers want it to be indicated with an integer to emphasize its importance.

This new leak comes from abc64, who has quite actively provided us with new information about the upcoming update. When it comes to the characters that will appear in Update 2.0, something many players were curious about, it’s pretty close to what previous rumors had suggested.

The leak claims that Yanfei, Ningguang, Chongyun could be the 4-star characters that will appear alongside Ayaka on Ayaka’s banner. Ayaka’s banner will be the first banner to be released in Update 2.0.
Along with that, the weapons banner has also been revealed. The weapon banner will include Skyward Spine and Mistsplitter Reforged. Mistsplitter Reforged is the latest weapon to be added in the Inazuma update. However, the inclusion of Skyward Spine is something fans are not very happy with. The update is set to roll out very soon, and it will be interesting to see if the leak is accurate.
