Leaks within the Genshin Impact community have shed light on the upcoming Electro version of the game’s protagonist.
Based on the story so far, the Traveler is likely to have seven shapes at the end of his journey, one for each item. Each one, naturally, should have its own unique gameplay. This article will cover the current expectations of the Electro Traveler based on credible leaks.
Leaks show Electro Traveler’s elemental abilities and combat animations in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact’s main character, the Traveler, will soon have a new Electro combat style in Inazuma. Since Travelers Geo and Anemo have unique kits, players have long predicted that a new moveset would appear alongside the new Electro region.

Elemental Skill of the Electro Traveler in Genshin Impact
Leaks indicate that Electro Traveler’s elemental ability “Lightning Blade” will trigger three electrical attacks. The second attack in the video tweeted below shows the alleged Elemental Skill animation.

The Electro Traveler’s ability also leaves behind an “Amulet of Plenty” when it hits an enemy. Characters can absorb charms for energy and a higher energy recharge. Relaunching this elemental ability will reset all previous charms.
The leaks also hint that some areas of the E-Travelers kit are dedicated enhancements to his Elemental Ability. The “Thunderflash” talent reduces the cooldown of the Electro Traveler’s ability each time another party member absorbs an abundance charm. A second talent, “Echoing Roar,” adds 10% of the Travelers ER to the existing Elemental Reload buff on amulets.

The Traveler has underperformed somewhat, at least compared to other 5-star characters. However, it is possible that the Electro Traveler is quite a useful teammate.
Recent Genshin Impact 2.0 leaks suggest that parts of the Spiral Abyss will enhance characters with maximum energy. If this is the case, the Electro Traveler’s energy-boosting abilities can be a valuable asset on the floors of the Spiral Abyss.

Elemental Blast from the Electro Traveler in Genshin Impact
The Electro Traveler’s elemental blast, “Roaring Thunder”, will likely knock down opponents and deal Electro damage.
The leaked images show burst animation, where the Electro Traveler creates a purple orb for a fraction of a second, leaving shards of purple floating around the Traveler. The first attack in the video below shows the Electro Traveler’s Elemental Blast animation.

Additionally, during Electro Traveler’s max ability, they are likely to deal bonus Electro Damage when performing normal and charged attacks. These additional attacks should also regenerate some energy.
With Inazuma fast on the way, the protagonist is likely to dominate Electro soon. Although his kit looks interesting and great as a support, players will have to wait and see how viable the Electro Traveler really is.
