Arc System Works has shared the link So we can see the new Guilty Gear Strive trailer that will star Anji Mito, a well-known character from the saga who brandishes two fans. Giovanna had previously been introduced, a fighter debuting in the saga who has the mission of protecting the president of the United States.

At the end of the trailer of the debutant, an image of Anji Mito could be seen, it only lasts a second but it was enough to know that he would be the next fighter to whom a trailer would be dedicated. Now it is confirmed with the link since the video, which will be broadcast on December 31, already has a thumbnail of the fighter.

Anji uses two fans that channel her ki and magic behind her normal person facade, she can control the wind and her attacks have movements similar to various oriental dances. At least that’s how the character who will have a slightly different look in Strive has been designed so far.

The creator of the saga, Daisuke Ishiwatari, has stated that he considers this new installment a main one in this series that has many spin-offs. Strive will have 15 playable characters at launch, more will be added later via DLC but these plans have yet to be detailed.

Those confirmed so far are: Giovanna, Nagoriyuki, Millia, Zato-1, Ramlethal Valentine, Faust, Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Chipp Zanuff, Leo Whitefang, and Potemkin.

Guilty Gear Strive will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC on April 9, 2021 with a renewed 3D graphic style, although the battles will continue to be played in 2D with handcrafted designs for the 2.5D characters.
