I am so excited to announce that Ghost of Tsushima is coming summer 2020!
I joined Sucker Punch as the new communications manager back in March (nice to meet you!) And have spent all my time in the studio so far looking forward to the opportunity to show more drama. Today it is my pleasure to finally do exactly that. I know it's been a long wait for everyone to look forward to playing, so I want to start by thanking you for your patience. This is a great game for our studio (like … really great) and we take our time to fix it.
Today, we have drawn you to a brand new jealousy that has already entered the depths of ownership that our hero is forced to use to save his home: The Ghost. When Jin starts our game as a samurai, he will learn skills and use tricks that are decidedly not the same as a samurai, and you can get a little taste of the footage we have revealed today. In the coming months, we will share more about Jin, the threats he faces, the partners that help him on his journey, and what he has to offer to become this kind of new hero.
As I said, Ghost of Tsushima is great – the biggest game Sucker Punch ever made by a wide margin. Our trailer features a quick glimpse of a valid, diverse and open world that you should check out, but we've never had a face.
I am also excited to reveal the art of our box today, featuring Jin's fighting gear as the rising storm is behind him. You can also get a look at some gear and upgrade Jin that he will receive throughout his journey, which we will share more details on next year.
Beyond our new trailer and box art today, we also have a new Ghost of Tsushima sale to present.
