Arc System Works and Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Versus reaches a huge sales milestone, showing that the spinoff game has been a success.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus has reached an impressive milestone. According to a Tweet from the official Granblue Fantasy: Versus account, the game has reached 450,000 sales between worldwide shipments and digital sales.
Developed by Arc System Works and Cygames, Granblue Fantasy: Versus combines elements of role-playing and fighting games. It’s based on the 2014 role-playing game Granblue Fantasy, and along with sales of nearly half a million digital units overall, the title has sold 100,000 units since April alone. This is partly due to the release of Granblue Fantasy: Versus in North America in early March, followed by a European release later that month.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus has received generally favorable reviews, with praise for its accessible yet deep gameplay that links successfully across multiple genres. The sales milestone is certainly something worth celebrating for developers.
With the patronage of many people, GBVS has sold over 450,000 units worldwide! Thank you!

The game has remained supported, as Granblue Fantasy: Versus has seen DLC and other new content since its initial release. The success of the game is not only good for the developers, it is also good news for the fans who enjoy the game. The better the game’s sales figures, the more likely Arc System Works and Cygames will keep up with new characters, content, and more through DLC. There is also potential for new titles in the future, but fans will have to wait and see if it is a possibility.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is available now for PC and PS4.
