IO Interactive shared the first trailer of Hitman III running on PlayStation VR. The revelation has also served to confirm that this version will be included in the PS4 edition and that it will be exclusive to this same console.
Therefore, it cannot be technically played on PS5. It really is a less complicated matter than it seems but basically PS VR needs an adapter to be able to work on PS5. This will be distributed for free, and will be included in all PS VR that are purchased in official stores.

In addition, we will have to play the PS4 version instead of the PS5 version in order to enjoy this new technology. At least this part is easy since every PS5 version includes the PS4 version and vice versa. Of course, the downloads are separate.
On the other hand, the gameplay itself looks pretty good. It is what we know about Hitman but in the first person and with more options to distract and kill enemies. For example, in the trailer we see Agent 47 tap the shoulder of an unsuspecting guard and quickly hide to throw him off the track.
The graphics decrease its quality to be able to run this version, but it is something common in the PlayStation 4 VR games. But the freshness and novelty of the gameplay with this technology are almost always worth it.
Lastly, there is no news of a possible Hitman 3 VR release for PC. The “normal” game will be available on the Epic Games Store, but the VR features are exclusive to Sony, at least for now.
Hitman 3 will offer a full experience with a new story and the locations of the two previous installments. It is the definitive edition of the saga that you cannot miss if you are minimally interested in the history of Agent 47, the infiltration and the European locations.
