Atlus shared a new trailer of Persona 5 Strikers, one of the most anticipated installments by fans of the saga since there is usually much more waiting time between one Persona and another.
What happens is that Strikers is a spin off of the main saga developed by Omega Force, in theory it is a continuation of Persona 5, but in this the gameplay will be different and the story will not advance as slowly as in the main saga. And it is that after all this Strikers has been developed by a Musou, the genre of the Dynasty Warriors.
A different edge
That is why in Strikers there will be much more action and a less open world, that is, the maps will be large but we will not have the freedom to go to different places but we will have very specific missions in each level. The story revolves around a detective who threatens Joker to imprison him if he does not help him with the situation in Tokyo.
The Phantom Thieves were visiting the capital of their country when something happens and a new kingdom suffers the consequences of an unknown enemy’s plan. The consequences include total chaos and the loss of hearts by the innocent. Our protagonists will have to get involved and they will do it in a big way.
As often happens with the Musou, we will be able to control several characters in the cast and Atlus has promised a new one. In addition, each one will have their own abilities and advantages on the battlefield, so variety is assured when it comes to taking down enemies.
Persona 5 Strikers is coming to PS4, Switch, and PC on February 23. With that said, it’s advisable to play the main installment before moving on to this one if you don’t want spoilers. Persona 5 Royal is exclusive to PS4 and works on PS5 with backward compatibility.
