Konami Announces Crimesight, a PC Exclusive Detective Simulator

announces, CrimeSight, Detective, exclusive, Konami, Simulator

After several years without announcing any new franchise titles, Konami removed from the sleeve Crimesight. The title is located in a London in the near future in which we can control an artificial intelligence dedicated to catching criminals, however, there will be factors to take into account before being able to formally accuse someone.

Apparently, we can also control the murderer and different characters with other roles, so we could be before the first asymmetric multiplayer of Konami. The perspective will be overhead and isometric, so it is easy to see influences from previous games of the genre and even some very popular such as Among Us.

The best news is that Konami is recruiting people for the global beta, you have to retweet the tweet below or join the discord channel official and follow the instructions there (share an emote). However, Konami cautions that they will not be able to give access to all applicants, so we imagine that they expect a lot of players trying to enter the beta.

That said, the genre (beyond the surprising popularity of Among Us) is not very popular, so we recommend at least trying to get into the beta, there is a good chance you will be chosen. Especially since Konami has been missing from the map for a while now and this announcement may have gone somewhat unnoticed.

As we said, this is the first Konami game in a long time. The Japanese company relied on Pro Evolution Soccer, Metal Gear and Castlevania. However, each of these franchises has had its setbacks and only PES (which changed its name) is still more or less current. So we really hope Crimesight works.

For now there is no release date on other platforms, so it is a Steam exclusive.
