The universe continues to expand. The new trailer for the film ‘Kurayukaba’ introduces a new character to the story played by Raiko Sakamoto.
Those who have been waiting for Shigeyoshi Tsukahara’s new movie since 2018 continue to slowly savor each of his teasers, and his most recent trailer is no exception.
Less than a minute long, in the video we find detailed scenes from the lives of the protagonists in the underground tracks of a train and to everyone’s surprise a new character joined the action.
Inarizaka, played by Raiko Sakamoto, will accompany us on this adventure full of bandits alongside voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa as Tanne and Yu Serizawa as Saki.
The first look at the film will be available from August 13 to 26 at the Ikebukuro Free Cinema in Tokyo, which counts as its first chapter and with special content that will only be screened on this occasion.
Among the special content you will find the first scenes that were animated from the play, the recording of the pilot, recordings of the work of the voice actors for the tape, and comments from director Shigeyoshi Tsukahara.
Previously, the animation studio Twin Engine began a donation drive in April 2020 to raise the funds necessary for the realization of ‘Kurayukaba’, with the goal of raising 20 million yen ($ 188,000).
After finishing with only 8,798,500 yen, which is equivalent to $ 79,513 US dollars, the studio decided to carry out the film divided into chapters, hoping that its premiere will provide sufficient funds for the continuation.
Being a film of 40 minutes in total, the safest thing is that in August we can see 20 to 24 minutes of its entirety, giving way for more fans to join together to carry out the project.
