A new rumor, which has Sony as the protagonist, has been racing like wildfire through the network of networks in the last few hours. Specifically, the rumor details some features that the PlayStation VR2, which will supposedly leave for Playstation 5. The first detail this rumor covers is their arrival, which will take place in 2022
The successors of the PS4 PlayStation VR will have a screen Fresnel OLED HDR, and who can run a resolution of 2000×2040 for each eye, with a field of vision of 110 degrees. As if that weren’t enough, the virtual reality glasses will be compatible with future AAA games that will have a VR option.

A negative point about the details that have been “leaked” is that it will not be compatible with the PSVR, so titles that were previously playable on PSVR will not work on newer hardware. As of yet, neither Sony nor PlayStation have spoken about the rumors, and they sure won’t. Also, keep in mind that while the details were true, that doesn’t mean that in a few months they might change, since the PlayStation VR2 is still in development.
