RPR’s ‘Fantasia Sango’ anime adaptation ‘Gensou Sangokushi: Tengen Reishinki’ announced that singer Machico will perform the title track of its first season, ‘Enishi.’
The news was revealed via Japanese entertainment website MoCa on Thursday, cheering fans of the singer and Suero Joy Technology’s game.
Its first edition, scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2021, will take us to ancient China during the Three Kingdoms era, when several powerful warlords began maneuvering to conquer the known kingdoms.
After the kingdoms were wiped out during the battle, the Sixth Unit re-formed, made up of members with troubled pasts such as leader Ōki, spirit purifier Shunkyō, Teiken, and demon slayer Shōrei.
Each of the misfits who will have as a mission to rebuild what once were the 3 kingdoms, were previously revealed and feature the voices of:
- Kensho Ono como Ōki
- Hisako Kanemoto como Shōrei
- Mai Nakahara como Shunkyō
- Makoto Furukawa como Teiken.
In the production you will find Shunsuke Machitani directing for animation studio Geek Toys and accompanied by his assistant Shinpei Nagai. Masashi Suzuki (‘Plunderer’) is in charge of the script and CSPG together with Tetsutarō Yui are designing the characters.
Yuko Kanamaru is the key color artist, while Morihito Ohara is in charge of the art design and Megumi Katanosaka is the art director with art advisor Osamu Masuyama.
Rurika Miyashita is directing the CG animation. Shigeki Asakawa is the photography composition director, Naoki Miyazaki is editing, and Tsutomu Tagashira is credited with the musical composition.
As for ‘Fantasia Sango’, the game was released in 2003, combining ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’ (‘Sangokushi’) and one of the four great classical Chinese novels (‘Along with Journey to the West’), with supernatural fantasy elements.
To date, it has managed to sell more than two million copies that have captivated RPG fans in Taiwan and the rest of the world.
