Hello Survivors, PlayStation players, and Blog Blog readers! My name is Dmitry Grigorenko. I am the lead game designer on World War I at Saber Interactive. I hope you all stay safe inside and play games during these turbulent times! We all work from here at Saber's home and are excited about the World War of the Year Edition and the Marseilles DLC coming out tomorrow, so I wanted to stop you and campaign for some information on those Marseilles maps.

Marseille is a unique place and probably the most diverse place we have done so far. It is located on the French Riviera and – despite a small zombie apocalypse – is a beautiful place. There are many areas of the city that we found inspiring and, even at individual levels, we have included a variety of different areas. For example, gameplay areas such as black cartoons and large open-air rural areas play differently with each other and in other Marseille plot settings.

Each level has a different theme. For example, another level is entirely dedicated to the protection of Fort Saint-Nicolas. At most of our levels, players press forward with tricks, defeating or escaping each wave. However, at this level the players are pulled back to the inside wall of the fort by a zombie megaswarm – it's about capturing your world.

We have always struggled to design our standards so that they would require a large amount of collaboration but also could be completed by random players. It is around this time that we want to push it further.

My favorite part of the new episode is when players have to use a large missile launcher to hit the map, blocking the way for a giant zombie strike. The trick is that the dispatcher is hard to understand: one player uses controls while the other helps direct, all the while the other two players have to reload the arrows and protect the victim. This sequence requires good cooperation between the players – very good and very good.

PS4 players can gain access to new content by purchasing an individual Marseille DLC, Season Pass, or GOTY Edition that includes all DLC. Also, if you're playing in a private backyard, the only keeper needs to have Marseille DLC. That means that only one of your friends needs to have Marseille DLC for you to play together tomorrow – have fun!
