Now that Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has debuted (with its old bugs) the industry has set out to remember that the saga is one of the most beloved RPGs and that it has a legion of fans who are now developers. This week Hello Games, creators of the claimed No Man’s Sky, they have premiered a second expedition called Beachhead that rewards players with the Normandy.
And the SR-1 version, that is, the one from the first Mass Effect that (spoilers) is completely destroyed by the end of the first installment. It is still one of the most remembered so it is this that we will have access to in No Man’s Sky in a collaboration that is just a small curiosity since we will not be able to pilot it.
Space tribute
The idea is that we use it for collection missions and nothing else, which is fair since No Man’s Sky is very different from Mass Effect, they share an atmosphere (pun intended), so we can see why Hello Games decided to honor the BioWare saga in this way. In fact, this is what Tim Woodley, producer at Hello Games, said.
We are excited and flattered that BioWare and EA are allowing us to pay tribute in this way. As huge fans of the series, it is an enchanting moment for sci-fi fans. It comes at such an exciting time for Mass Effect, with so many people discovering and rediscovering this amazing universe through the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. “
To gain access to Normandy, you must complete the Beachhead Expedition by May 31st. This game mode is a novelty for No Man’s Sky and they work like modes that are only available for a short season, it seems that May is the new month of Mass Effect, so until the end of this month we can get the Normandy SR-1
