4A Games y Deep Silver revelan that Metro Enhanced Edition finally hits the next gen with considerable graphical enhancements this Friday. All users who have the game in physical form will be able to update to this version, while those who have it in digital will see how the new gener ation version can be downloaded for free in their respective stores.
The change is quite important since both versions of 1080p and 30 FPS at 4K and 60 FPS, that is to say that everything will look much better, there will be more pixels on the screen and the game will run with twice the images per second. Therefore, if you have a minimal interest in the series and are thinking of buying a next gen console, it would be a good idea to buy the PS4 or Xbox One version now to have access to the free upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Ray tracing is here
For its part, the S Series will only go to 60 FPS instead of 30 and will maintain the resolution at 1080p, which is still a significant jump if you are used to 30 FPS. Of course, improvements in loading times, textures, models and the acclaimed ray tracing are also present in the Xbox Series S.

Ray tracing features were already detailed in the PC version that was released a month ago, but they will basically be the same on these consoles. Global lighting gives the game a very different look. Sunlight, but especially that of interior spaces, will reflect on any surface, just as it happens in real life, so the final image is much closer to what the developers aspired to create.
In the trailer below you can see the differences, the change in lighting affects practically all scenarios, so you are hyper-realistic, it is a highly recommended title to enjoy the graphics.
This edition will be available at 5 PM PDT, that is, between 7 and 10 at night in Latin America.
