miHoYo posted a new issue of your fictional newspaper called “Teyvat Times” where they reveal curious events and statistics from their world. On this occasion they have published several curious facts about the players who have been enjoying this free JRPG for 4 months now.
Apparently this data is collected taking into account all the servers so it may even someone you know is here. miHoYo has chosen t his close approach to its players since the game’s launch, and the truth is that the humor of the title and its Twitter account fit well in the community.
Fun facts
The data that has attracted the most attention to many players is that of eliminated common enemies. The “Slimes” have been eliminated more than 14,000 million times, something that is expected if we take into account that they are weak and common enemies. But the data also reveals the number of players miHoYo has.
Another curious fact is that there is a player who required more than 76 attempts to defeat Oceanids, one of the toughest enemies in the title. It was on his 77th attempt that he succeeded, and if you think that’s too much, it was also revealed that there is a player who, after trying 125 times, gave up and has not tried to beat this boss again.

More curious data includes the amount of bird eggs stolen from the nests (an easy resource to obtain) that exceeds 7 million daily, including a player who in one day stole 787. Another less “cheerful” data is that of the artifacts In the Artifact Domain, there appear to have been nearly 38,000 players who have exchanged their resins but then left without taking the reward artifact, wasting their time and resources.
Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PC, iOS, and Android, with a planned but undisclosed version of the Switch. The game was recently updated to version 1.2 and has added new zones and two new characters, Albedo and Ganyu.
