Balan Company, Arzest and Square Enix have shared two new trailers for Balan Wonderworld, one of the most special titles of recent years. Sonic’s original programmer, Yuji Naka, and Sonic’s designer Naoto Ohshima, teamed up to create this new work with a Carvanales aesthetic and a tone very similar to Alice in Wonderland.
The title will be divided into 12 chapters with its main characters in each one and today they revealed Fiona and Yuri, protagonists of the second and third chapter. The videos follow the trend of the previous trailers, lots of light and representation of happiness until the happy tone is interrupted by a dark element.
Light and darkness
So it will be us, as players, who will try to restore balance to these people. Fiona is a swimmer who loves the sea, however, one day a dolphin hits her and almost causes her death, so their relationship with the ocean changes from then on.

For her part, Yuri is a girl who likes insects but it is a hobby that her friends do not share. So this loneliness has pushed him to withdraw and forget about the rest of the world.
A few days ago they also introduced José, a farmer who dedicates his life to his work and who is forced to stop by a huge tornado. So far they have not shown us any great enemy, the darkness takes different faces so it seems that the story will be a little more complicated than good against evil.
Balan Wonderworld is scheduled for March 26, 2021, will arrive on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC. In addition, it will offer a resolution of 4K and 60 FPS in the next generation consoles, in addition to that, according to Yuji Naka, it will take advantage of the DualSense technology.
