Marvel has released a new trailer for ‘Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’, which will be the next MCU film to hit theaters, after ‘Black Widow’ has become a success, and that ‘Loki’ has branched off the Sacred Timeline.
The new trailer introduces us to the first new hero of Phase Four of the MCU, and thanks to this preview we can see more of the powers that are linked with the 10 rings.
The cast of the film stars Simu Liu, accompanied by Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu and Benedict Wong, who returns to play his role as Wong from the “saga” of ‘Doctor Strange’.
This second trailer reveals that Abomination will appear in some form in the film, which connects this film with the Hulk’s solo production. The film itself will focus on the story of Liu and his desire to “run away” from the mysterious organization led by his father, The Mandarin. Again, it is not the one we saw in ‘Iron Man 3’.
Liu’s character will face his father at the end of this entire story, however, we are dying to learn more details of his relationship with the new phase of the MCU, and his space in the franchise timeline.
Does this happen in parallel with ‘Loki’? Is it one of the branches of the Sacred Timeline? Or, does it happen before Thanos’ snap? As you will see, we have many doubts, but we are excited that on September 3 we will receive the answers.
This new preview is brief, but it contains a lot of action, which allows us to get excited enough, especially understanding that ‘Black Widow’ showed many battle scenes that left us more than shocked.
