The battle royale genre is not one of the most popular in the video game industry. There are dozens of titles that have their differences when it comes to attracting the attention of players, but there are at least three that enjoy the greatest popularity such as ‘Fortnite’, ‘PUBG’ and ‘Apex Legends’.

Today we have new news related to the second of that list and that is that ‘PUBG’ was updated a few days ago and one of the great news of the update is that PUBG Corp decided to reduce the number of bots within the title. This has been very well received by most of the users who make life within the game of PUBG Corp.

Previously, there were at least bots per game, but this number has been falling considerably according to user reports. One player commented that of the last ten games he encountered 870 human users and only 40 bots, a not significant amount.

A welcome update

PUBG Corp has not given official statements in this regard, but it is notable that this change was included within the update. In the same way, it is expected to have official statements from the game developers that can clarify a little more this change within their popular game.

The most recent update also brought new changes to the weapons in the game. For example, the VSS weapon damage has been increased and the mini-14 now packs a higher hit. These types of changes are very frequent in battle royale, where developers seek to maintain balance by increasing or decreasing the power of various weapons when they deem it necessary.

The truth is that ‘PUBG’ is still one of the most successful battle royales in the industry and one of the few that has managed to position itself despite the fact that it is a paid game unlike ‘Fortnite’.
