Nintendo has published the QoL trailer (Quality-of-Life) that many expected. This is the video that details the news that the remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will have. Remember that the title was released 10 years ago so the ideal is that the game has palpable playable improvements.
The new installment of the game will arrive this month with better controls and updated graphics. What will be most noticeable is the jump from 480p to 1080p, a noticeable change in resolution that will also be accompanied by the 60 FPS ideal for playing this type of adventure.
Nintendo improves just enough
Now, the quality of life changes are several more. The first one they showed is that Fi (the NPC that accompanies us) will be available in much of the game as an assistant to guide us. This is literal, if we touch the date upwards it will offer us advice, direct clues, more indirect clues and statistics of the game.
On the other hand, there will be the possibility of playing with the buttons or with the movement controls. The first allows us to control the sword only with the sticks, while with the movement sticks, well what we expect, handle the sword and bow with the Joy-Cons.
Lastly, there are dedicated enhancements specifically for those who have already played the title. This is why we can avoid descriptions of objects that paralyze the action, skip dialogue (or speed it up), and avoid cutscenes altogether.
The trailer has been met with some criticism as many expected more news. Certainly there are few improvements compared to the original, but the most normal thing is that the change in resolution is enough for many. Of course, the price will be $ 60, a point that has also been mentioned a lot as a criticism of Nintendo.
In any case, Skyward Sword HD will arrive on Switch on July 16 in digital and physical format.
