We are often asked the same question about Boundary: How did the idea of space shooter come about?
First-person shooters are a classic, as enjoyed by players in a variety of locations and times including battles, cities … and other planets! This got us thinking: Why can't we set up a space class?
We brought this concept to life by building Boundary as a more imitative, low-impact nature shooter, and this is what makes Boundary unique.
Zero Gravity Combat
We call our armed scientists the AO, or Astroperators, and you'll have to think like one in Boundary. The movement is open in your head in space: you have complete freedom of movement and you are not limited by gravity like most shooters.
But keep this in mind: more opportunities as gravity opens up, which presents greater challenges.
A well-trained AO knows how to use the environment to help themselves. Floating debris makes for a nice blind spot to hide your approach, a solar panel can be a great place to plan an ambush against an unexpected enemy, and you can even use your tip to tie a high speed from one point to the next.
Customization
Many of the characters in Boundary can be specially translated as actors in multiple roles. Our experienced AO, Lucas, can work as an Assaulter or Sniper Specialist, each with their own Tactical Ability.
Like Assaulter, Lucas can offer an agonist shot to strengthen his nerves (a type of Adrenaline shot). Like Sniper, he can use an arm that comes giving him a stable platform to harden his gun.
Every AO has its own practical and practical skills, as well as various basic skills such as weapons or health. This gives them their unique roles in the difficult space warfare.
A Combination of Aircraft and Modern Guns
Aside from gameplay, we are very proud of Boundary's artwork.
There are two things we have tried to emphasize in building our art. We are trying to create a believable world where modern technology and modern weapons are integrated together. These two things were the basis of our design projects.
We are approaching development with the view, "If a person has an argument in an external environment, what does he look like?" Border is our view of aerial military operations (and some artistic license from us as well, of course).
Many others may have dreamed of this idea – I hope you like where our thoughts took us.
This year is coming
Boundary's advanced features are convenient and comprehensive. The dev team is now focusing on network communication testing and can add as much expandable content as a person likes, as well as more maps and weapons.
One sentence summary: Borders will release this year on PS4 and PC.
