Overwatch updated to celebrate the 2021 Summer Games
Overwatch is updated to return one more year with its most summery event. Blizzard Summer Games 2021 shooter released until August 10 to celebrate the hottest season with a big wave of new items, game modes and weekly challenges that will allow us to unlock all kinds of cosmetics.
In 2021, classic game modes like Luciobol, but the experience is updated in a new much more frantic Arcade in which there will be two balls. Unsurprisingly, all the added details have been announced, so below is a full list with all the new stuff included.
Game modes available in the Arcade section
Luciobol: The classic of the Overwatch Summer Games classics. We will have to form a team to push the ball into the enemy goal.
Lúciobol Remix: A much more difficult and chaotic version of Lúciobol. The mode will throw two balls and additional balls will appear periodically which will cost more points.
The arenas of Lúciobol will take place across the Busan Stadium, Sydney Harbor Arena and Estádio das Rãs.
Weekly challenges to unlock graffiti, player icons and skins
The rewards for the next three weeks can be unlocked when we play fast-paced, competitive, or arcade games. Unlike previous occasions, wins will count as having played two games
Week 1 (July 20-27) rewards: Epic Winston King of the Ocean skin, graffiti and player icon.
Week 2 Rewards (July 27 – August 3): Pharah Sunset Player icon, Sunset Flight graffiti, and epic Pharah Sunset skin.
Week 3 Rewards (August 3-10): Player icon, graffiti, and epic skin for Hanzo of Nihon.
