Overwatch premieres today new Archives event, one of the most repeated and well-known in the game that basically lets us play PvE games in areas that tell, in their own way, the story of Overwatch. That’s why we will have three new missions, one with Tracer, another with Reyes (Reaper) and another with Genji.
In addition, there are 8 new skins and three will be free, but you will have to earn them by completing certain challenges, one per week until at the end of the event we can already have them. The three that they give away are of “epic” rarity and another five are of the legendary ones, and those will have to be paid for with coins or be lucky enough to come out in a loot box.
The first Overwatch mission for Tracer can be played in the event, it will be called Insurrection and will allow us to fight against the Null Sector, a band of omnic renegades. Then we have Revenge, in this we will control with Reyes (we can choose other heroes) leading a Blackwatch attack on Talon.
After the terrorist organization known as Talon attacked an Overwatch compound, the peacekeeping forces were unable to respond. But Blackwatch, Overwatch’s secret strike force, follows its own rules. Travel eight years into the past and join Blackwatch on a mission to capture one of the most important members of the Talon. Finally, Impending Storm, will take us to chase Maximilien, an omnic who works for Talon
The skins are: Lucio Corredor, Zenyatta Subaquático, Mercy Camouflage, Soldier 1776, Zarya Polyanitsa, Widowmaker Musketeer, Tracer Cavalry and Genji Bushi. The first three are the gift, this first week is Lucio’s so we must get 30 stars (playing any mode) to receive the skin.
Archives, the new Overwatch event, premieres today and runs through April 27. The game will also be on sale for a limited time.
