Play in present-day Tokyo, where the main character recently moved to high school under surveillance as he works a criminal trial on a false charge. During the school year, he and other students rose to their power to call out Personas. It is up to this group of elders to shrink their personality so that it enters the hearts and minds of adults, restoring their evil and corrupt thoughts before hurting others.
So, how does this ragtag group of "problem kids" go about removing evil from the hearts of corrupt adults?
Phantom criminals, as they are called, explore what is known as the Metaverse – a supernatural realm born of mysterious human desires. In Metaverse Palaces – the physical manifestation of human motives. Some of them are good, and some of them, not so much. Phantom giants must increase the power of their Personas and enter the dungeons to find a Treasure that symbolizes the perverted thoughts of their plans. As soon as they seize this Wealth, the corrupt thoughts disappear from their understanding of the redeemed and become better redeemed. Phantom giants take their goals one by one and steal the Treasure from their Homes to refine their curiosity, turning formerly good people into good citizens.
A teacher who wishes his authority is boxing. A painter who praises the work of other people. These are the kinds of gems that the characters will change. Starting with people from their schools, the characters moved on to other games and eventually continued to transform the entire city as the story began to reach its peak. Phantom Thieves continue their work at night – during the day, but it's a bunch of ridiculous high school kids who get on with their lives and much more.
